UK Construction Week Role Models 2026 - Terms and Conditions

1. Overview 

The UK Construction Week Role Models initiative celebrates individuals who are making a positive impact in the construction industry. The programme recognises professionals across all levels and disciplines who demonstrate excellence, innovation, and leadership. 

Nominations are open to anyone working in or connected to the construction industry in the UK. Individuals may nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. 

2. Key Dates 

Nominations close: Sunday 15th March 2026 

Shortlist announcement: During UK Construction Week London, 12–14 May 2026 at ExCeL London 

We recommend submitting nominations early to ensure your entry is received before the deadline. Late or incomplete submissions may not be considered.

3. Eligibility 

Nominees must work in, or contribute to, the UK construction and built environment sectors. 

Nominations can be made for individuals only, not organisations or teams. 

There are no entry fees associated with submitting a nomination. 

Nominees must be available to participate in promotional activity related to the Role Models programme if selected. 

4. Categories 

Entries will be considered across three categories: 

Rising Star – Emerging professionals showing exceptional promise and fresh perspectives. 

Pioneer – Innovators driving progress, sustainability, or change in their field. 

Icon – Established leaders whose influence and achievements have made a lasting mark on the industry. 

5. Shortlisting and Selection 

All eligible nominations will be reviewed by the UK Construction Week team and an appointed judging panel. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome. 

Shortlisted Role Models will be featured across UK Construction Week channels and may be invited to participate in panel discussions, media interviews, and event activities. 

6. Use of Information 

By submitting a nomination, you agree that the information provided (including bios, photos, and quotes) may be used for publicity, marketing, and promotional purposes in connection with UK Construction Week and its partners. 

All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 

7. Changes and Cancellation 

UK Construction Week reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions or adjust key dates where necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated via the UK Construction Week website.
