App FAQs

Can I use the app for networking?

Exhibitors & Visitors:
Yes. You can connect with other Exhibitors and Visitors by searching for them in the Exhibitor or Attendee list. Once you start a conversation, it will appear in the Messages section. Meetings will appear in the Meetings section. Make sure you enable notifications so you don’t miss any networking opportunities.

Students:
Messaging isn’t available for students, but you can scan badges to add people to your Favourites. You can also add notes to your scans as a reminder to connect with them after the show.

What is My Event?

The My Event section gives you a personalised hub tailored to your experience. It includes:

  • Your booked meetings
  • Favourited sessions, people, exhibitors, and speakers
  • An agenda view of your day at a glance

What happens when I scan a badge?

Exhibitors:
If your package includes SmartScan, you can scan leads directly in the app. All leads can then be viewed and exported from your Exhibitor Hub as normal.

Students & Visitors:
Scanning a badge adds that person to your Favourites list in the app. If you scan an Exhibitor’s badge, they will also see that you have favourited them.

Can I remove myself from the attendee list?

Yes. You can manage your visibility in the app settings. Simply go to your profile preferences and turn off the option to appear in the attendee list.

What is My Profile for?

Your profile is your digital business card. Add a photo and bio to increase your chances of networking. Attendees are more likely to connect when they can see who they’re engaging with. You’ll also receive notifications for messages or meeting requests, which you can respond to directly in the app.
