WHERE IT ALL BEGAN...
Birmingham, the Midlands, was the centre of the industrial revolution in the UK and the legacy of the city that built Great Britain continues with UK Construction Week.
The NEC in Birmingham was the birthplace of UK Construction Week in 2015 and the tradeshow has grown to become the UK's largest built environment event, held annually in the first week of October.
The halls of the NEC have been the key destination for the past 7 years for all in construction. There have been 1000s of international exhibitors showcasing 1000s of innovative products, materials and services and many more to come for our 100,000+ visitors.
UKCW is a catalyst for change in the sector as we gather the top speakers to panel our many seminar theatres to discuss and debates the issues affecting construction, and we believe this is where real change can happen.

"It’s been a really good show and we’ve had some great leads that could turn into major contracts for us, including some university and larger council projects. It’s our first UKCW and we’ve been happy with the amount of enquiries so far, so we’d absolutely come back again."
-
"The mornings at the show have been jam-packed, and as a whole it’s been a really positive one for us. We’ve had a few decent enquiries - I’d say around 40% of which could be hot, relevant leads."
-
“We’ve been coming to the show for two years and we always love the Birmingham one and find it brings us relevant construction contacts and leads. For us being present here is all about brand identity and the strong leads we’ve secured are simply a bonus.”
-
“Our company has exhibited at UKCW before but this is my first time here. It’s been a good show with interesting talks and meetings with some great potential customers.”
-
“It’s our first year exhibiting at UKCW and it really hasn’t disappointed. We wanted to exhibit at a show a few weeks out from our product launch, and after visiting and exhibiting at shows over the years, we think UKCW definitely ticks all the boxes when it comes to footfall, calibre of exhibitors - and Media10 were incredible to deal with.”
-
“Absolutely outstanding. We’ve exhibited at UK Construction Week since it began in 2015 and this is the best footfall I’ve seen in five years. It’s a credit to the organisers and all they do to make the show successful for their exhibitors.”
-
“There’s such a lot to see here you have to plan out where you need to be at what time which is great; there are eight of us here today who work in infrastructure at Rolls-Royce - we look after the site buildings and we want to go back after the show and say ‘this is what the industry is doing and this is what we need to explore"
-
“We’re here with The National Robotarium to demonstrate to the wider construction industry the benefits of robotics and AI; we chose UKCW because of its scale, and its reputation to attract people who have a curiosity about what the future might look like."
