Yusuf Javaid
Yusuf is a Finance and Mandarin graduate from the Shanghai University of Economics and Essex Business School. Currently serving as a senior surveyor at Cushman and Wakefield, his professional journey reflects a commitment to diversity with articles on Islamaphobia being published by the RICS.
Hailing from South West London and shaped by his experiences in the diaspora, Yusuf advocates for genuine Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives. He believes that EDI strategies must transcend performative gestures and instead be actionable, clear, and purpose-driven, with tangible outcomes that propel the industry forward. With a passion for driving positive change, Yusuf hopes to be catalyst for greater Religious, Ethnic and Socio-Economic diversity and looks to setup an organisation to do so in the future.
