Valeria’s educational background is in Physics and Material Science. After a period spent as researcher at University in the field of superconductivity, she moved to industry and spent 7 years in D'Appolonia, a private engineering consultancy, where she gathered multidisciplinary expertise and project management skills.

She then joined IES Ltd., managing R&D projects and ensuring marketable outcomes. Valeria now runs IES’ Digital Twin consultancy division, helping clients optimise the performance of their buildings through the use of Digital Twin technology.
