Tom Woolley is Director of Low Carbon, Residential (Metis) at SMS, leading the growth and delivery of Metis – an innovative funded infrastructure model that enables the large-scale deployment of residential solar PV, battery storage and smart energy solutions without upfront cost to residents. Tom is responsible for the commercial strategy, product development, partnerships and market expansion of Metis, working with local authorities, housing providers, energy companies and government stakeholders to accelerate the UK's low carbon transition. He is passionate about making clean energy accessible at scale and has been instrumental in developing pioneering programmes that deliver lower energy bills, increased grid resilience and improved sustainability outcomes for communities across the UK.
