Tom Ahmad
Licensed Insolvency Practitioner,
BABR
I am a Chartered Accountant and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner who commenced my career working at a leading firm of insolvency practitioners in central London before co-founding Bailey Ahmad Business Recovery in January 2007.
I have worked on a wide range of corporate assignments, with a focus on owner-managed and sole trader businesses struggling with debt. Key roles include advisor, liquidator (solvent and insolvent companies), administrator or supervisor of a Company Voluntary Arrangement.
I also support individuals struggling with debt. Acting as a trustee of bankrupt estates or assisting the implementation of Individual Voluntary Arrangements between individuals and their creditors.
I am the current President of ICAEW Croydon District Society; formed in 1985 and serves more than 2,300 members. Working with other volunteer committee members, ICAEW Croydon is deeply engaged in the development of the local economy and regards the promotion of the profession as a crucial part of its work.
