I take a collaborative and people-focused approach to guiding the pre-construction activities of a thriving £350m+ infrastructure business. My passion lies in developing lasting relationships while securing diverse projects spanning rail, energy, highways, and broader infrastructure sectors. I take pride in fostering a people-focused environment, dedicated to coaching, mentoring, and empowering team members to reach their full potential. Development of our team, driving both individual development and team success is key to my role. My experience encompasses success across projects at all levels, leveraging expertise across the civil engineering market. This experience has informed my belief in the untapped potential of our industry, as I've witnessed firsthand the transformative impact it can have on communities. As an author, I've created "When I Grow Up" and "The Big Build" with a mission to address the skills shortage in our sector while imparting valuable knowledge to tens of thousands of children nationwide. I'm committed to instilling a passion for construction and engineering careers at an early age, aiming to bring about meaningful change. One of my motivations is the belief that our industry remains underappreciated. I am determined to change this narrative by continuing to champion our field, advocating its merits through speaking engagements and podcast opportunities. My goal is to inspire the next generation and highlight the immense opportunities within construction and engineering.
