Miles heads up sustainability across Clarion Housing Group and is responsible for co-creating and delivering the Group sustainability strategy and targets for the UK’s largest housing association. This includes the establishment of the organisation’s strategic approaches to reach Net Zero Carbon, enabling the recovery of nature across the portfolio and building resilience to climate-related risks. 

Prior to Clarion, Miles was Head of Sustainability at Lendlease, responsible for supporting the Development and Investment Management businesses in Europe, supporting the multi-billion-pound pipeline of major urban regeneration projects to develop their long term sustainability strategies, as well as authoring the Lendlease Europe Roadmap to Absolute Zero Carbon. 

Miles is a Trustee of the UK Green Building Council, joining the Board in January 2025 to further the mission to radically transform the sustainability of the built environment.
