I'm Mayur the founder of from CubeLynx a consultancy company specialising in large infrastructure projects (some of our clients include Vinci, Ofgem, Ealing Council and Mind). We champion DEI by recruiting neurodiverse talent and specialise in financial modelling for projects, striving for sustainability and innovation. I set up the business to provide quality advisory and modelling services but also to provide employment opportunities for neurodiverse financial modellers (my son is autistic and so it is purpose close to my heart). The employment rate for autistic people in the UK is incredibly low (just 22% in full-time employment) but financial modelling is very well-suited to the strengths of many neurodiverse people and can offer a rewarding career. As well as consulting, I am also involved with initiatives to promote awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace. I sit on various ED&I committees including that of IPFA and the TIDE Taskforce which is a industry-wide initiative to improve inclusion and diversity across the energy sector. I am also an Ambassador of the Diversity Project which represents the investment and savings industry. Our work has been recognised as influential and has led to feature on the BBC and discussions with the DWP Minister Mel Stride, showcasing our efforts to integrate neuro-diverse talent for problem-solving and project innovation.
