Lucie is a Consultant at the Carbon Trust where she is the Sector Lead for construction, property and infrastructure; a role which is informed by her previous experience as a structural engineer. She supports companies in quantifying emissions, analysing data to assess the risks and opportunities, formalising carbon management, reduction plans and decarbonisation strategies.
She is also the Delivery Lead for value chain propositions where she facilitates the connection between technical understanding, project management and client issue resolution.

Lucie was the Carbon Trust’s representative when collaborating with BRE, CIBSE, CIC, CIOB, ICE, IStructE, RIBA, RICS and UKGBC to develop the Built Environment Carbon Database (BECD) for the UK. The database is envisioned to become the main source of carbon estimating and benchmarking for the UK construction sector and a practical instrument to support the decarbonisation of the built environment. The project went live in mid-September 2023, incorporating data within both asset and product sections using LCA records from among others EcoPortal and EC3.
