Iris has 10 years of experience in construction, starting as an apprentice engineer for main contractor, HOCHTIEF to a cost manager for a Multi Disciplinary Consultancy, Ridge and Partners. At Ridge she was inspired by the good working culture and felt that a platform should be created to champion companies who value and support their employees especially women. She is now the co-founder and CEO of Femforce, a first in the industry online platform that rates construction companies based on how female forward they are to help attract, hire and retain female talent in construction. Femforce’s unique rating system verifies companies' commitment to female advancement using real data based on a combined employee and employer survey. Through Femforce she champions not only the empowerment of women but also the transformation of construction culture, ensuring equal opportunities and representation for all.
