Georgios Grigoriou
Georgios is a Building System Integration Consultant and Practitioner Ontologist, specializing in energy efficiency, smart buildings, and building data engineering analytics. With a strong background in these areas, Georgios is leading the technical and data-driven initiatives at Arcadis Intelligent Buildings Team centred around building system integration and driving activities on building energy and data intelligence
In addition to that, Georgios designs, advises and oversees activities related to master system integration (MSI), converged networks (IT/OT), ICT, Digital Twins, and human-building interaction.
Georgio's aim is to drive tangible and measurable impact for people, places, and the planet to improve quality of life with the mission to contribute towards net zero and sustainability targets.
Georgios has been recognized for his contributions, having been nominated and shortlisted for the Best Digital Engineer Award by the Society of Digital Engineering, part of CIBSE, in both 2022 and 2023. He is an active member of the CIBSE Intelligent Buildings Group and leads Project Haystack Ontology Working Group #1071: BIM/Haystack, demonstrating his commitment to advancing industry standards and collaboration.
