George Ashbrook is Managing Director of Ashbrook Roofing Services, a family business with more than 50 years of experience in the roofing industry. Having started his career on the tools and specialising in lead work, George moved into management before taking over as Managing Director and leading the continued growth and diversification of the business.
Today, George leads a multi-faceted family business spanning specialist roofing and heritage work, roofing supplies, property development and commercial property. With more than 16 years’ experience in the business, he brings both hands-on industry experience and senior business leadership. George is a long-standing NFRC member, sits on the NFRC Midlands Regional Committee, and has been a CPS contractor for around eight years. He brings a strong understanding of the challenges facing roofing businesses and the role that competence, compliance and industry standards play in building a successful and trusted business. As an early adopter of Certchain, he is contributing to the development of the platform, bringing his experience as a roofing business leader to help shape how digital competence management can work for businesses across the sector.
