Elliot Wilford
Elliott is currently the Lead for BAM UK & Ireland’s Temporary Works Centre of Expertise and actively engaged in developing modern methods of Temporary Works design and Temporary Works management.
He has over 18 years’ experience within the construction industry, predominantly in Civils, with the past 15 years being spent developing his skills and knowledge within the field of Temporary Works. His experience is varied, covering many sectors including rail infrastructure, heavy civils construction, marine Temporary Works, and the energy market. Elliott’s predominant experience is in Temporary Works design and he has also been involved with on site management of Temporary Works.
He is passionate about raising awareness of the importance of considering Temporary Works as early as possible in the design process. This includes a broader adoption of digital construction techniques early to optimise design options and enhancing the skillsets of Temporary Works designers and co-ordinators. He is also highly enthusiastic around continuously improving construction methodology sequencing to facilitate integration of Temporary Works into the Permanent Works solution. Elliott joined the TWf board in June 2024.
