David is a highly respected stone specialist and chartered Geologist with 30 years’ experience in the industry. He has held senior positions in Laing, Atkins and Building Research Establishment (BRE) is a past President of the Stone Federation GB and is currently Chairman of the Technical and Sustainability committees. At BRE David was the Director in charge of the Sustainable Materials team responsible for LCA, EPDs and responsible sourcing. Running his own specialist consultancy, he has experience selecting and sourcing natural stone from all over the world for a range of commercial and residential properties and is programme manager for the Ethical Stone Register.
