David is a Chartered Geologist and Chartered Engineer, a member of the British Standards Technical Committee B/545 Natural Stone, a member of European Technical Committee CEN/TC246 Natural Stones, and is past president of the Stone Federation 2010-12. He has extensive international experience over more than 35 years in the specification, selection and testing of natural stone, geomaterials, construction materials and testing techniques in the building and civil engineering industry.
