Catarina is a Senior Research Fellow at London South Bank University with 19 years’ experience working on funded research projects in the areas of refrigeration, food science and district heating and cooling. She is the project director for Transport, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration (TICR), a consortium project funded by the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero. TICR is investigating GHG emissions from refrigeration and developing benchmarks, roadmaps and industry resources. Catarina is also a member of IMechE
