April is a transformation and design leader with over a decade of experience in construction, lighting consultancy and strategic operations. At CCS, she is responsible for shaping and driving the organisation’s commercial strategy, leading revenue growth, expanding market reach and developing new business opportunities.

Her career includes senior roles at John Cullen Lighting, as well as serving as Senior Design Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Xavio Design. Most recently, as Principal at Light Directions, she led the international expansion of the studio’s residential and hospitality portfolio. Across these roles, she consistently delivered commercial success through client development, service innovation and strategic leadership.

April brings a strong commercial focus to her role at CCS, ensuring that programmes are financially sustainable, strategically aligned and deliver long-term value. She also sits on the Corporate Development Board for the Queen Elizabeth Foundation, supporting the charity’s mission to transform the lives of disabled people through strategic partnerships and fundraising initiatives.
