Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer, GScan
As the Chief Strategy Officer and Co-founder of GScan, I spearhead the business development and innovation of a deeptech start-up that revolutionises civil engineering, security, industry, and medicine through muon tomography.

With over 20 years of experience in academic research and 3 years in entrepreneurship, I possess a deep understanding of physics, computer science, and deeptech business development. Driven by a passion for solving real-world problems with cutting-edge technology, I joined GScan in 2020 after working as a senior researcher at KBFI.

Prior to GScan, I collaborated with leading institutions such as CERN, DESY, MIT, Cambridge, and Helsinki universities on ground-breaking scientific projects. As part of world-class research teams, I contributed to the discovery of the Higgs Boson and made significant breakthroughs in dark matter and astroparticle physics. My research has been widely published, and I have received accolades for my efforts in scientific popularisation/communication.

My expertise in muon tomography, a novel imaging technique that utilises cosmic rays to penetrate dense objects and structures, has been instrumental in GScan's success. Leveraging my scientific knowledge and extensive network in academia, technology, and business, I am committed to developing innovative solutions and business models that address the critical needs and challenges faced by various industries and sectors.
