Alison has over 20 years experience in Building Services design working on major projects across the West Midlands with Tier 1 and 2 contractors and sub-contractors. Arup always aspires to work with our client’s to ‘Shape a Better World’ and inherently a safe construction site and building is a big part of that. Alison coordinates the health and safety responsibilities of her team of 30 mechanical engineers and technicians ensuring they adhere to internal and external good practice and are confident to stand up and call out anything on sites that doesn’t look right. Lesson’s learnt workshops and sharing of incidents and near misses is crucial to improving understanding and therefore safety.
