Alex Small is the Digital Platforms & Innovation lead for Tata Steel UK. This role involves the development and management of market-driven digital platforms as well as the digital reach and interlock of the business through its data. Alex’s remit also includes horizon scanning for new, innovative, products or services that could add value for product traceability, in-use performance, circular economy, digital interoperability, etc across all Tata Steel sectors of construction, automotive, engineering and packaging.

Alex sits on various digital construction standards committees and digital task groups and leads Tata Steel’s involvement in the SEISMIC platform.
