We redesigned our profile and the new version is spectacular. This new improved Novatik SLATE can be installed in 2 distinct ways: interlaced and linear arrangement, creating two different architectural styles for flat roofs.

OPTIMIZED HEIGHT OF THE NEW TILE FOR SAFE FIXING AND SEALING.

We’ve optimized the height of the NEW SLATE profile. We’ve done this to achieve a more clean-shape design while ensuring optimal sealing. This new height of the profile facilitates the fixing of the tiles onto the wooden battens making it more secure and easy. The overlaps have become almost invisible and the risks of accidental infiltration or of dust depositing under the tiles have been eliminated.

FOUR WATER CHANNELS TO PREVENT THE EFFECTS OF CAPILLARY ACTION ACROSS THE TILE.

Tiles are laid in a way that controls the flow of water down the roof and prevents water from leaking through the junctions between the tiles. For our new Slate tiles we designed 4 water channels on their left edge which are essentially water gutters designed to prevent the effects of capillary action across the tile. We now have not 1, not 2, but 4 consecutive barriers against possible infiltrations.
