As Construction Deputy Director at the Ministry of Justice, Sarah-Jayne plays a leading role in delivering construction across one of the UK's largest public sector estates. With extensive experience spanning procurement, innovation, productivity and long-term investment, she brings valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the construction sector today.

Her participation comes at a pivotal moment for the industry. Construction is being asked to deliver more than ever before – from accelerating housebuilding and modernising infrastructure to improving productivity, embracing digital innovation and achieving net zero targets, all while navigating skills shortages, tighter regulation and increasing client expectations.

Sarah-Jayne will join an impressive line-up of senior industry leaders, policymakers, clients and decision-makers on The Construction Reset Main Stage, where the industry's biggest challenges—and the opportunities they present—will take centre stage.

Across three days, visitors can expect discussions covering:

  • Delivering 1.5 million homes
  • Building safety, procurement reform and stronger supply chains
  • The commercial case for net zero
  • AI, digitalisation and the future of construction productivity
  • The leadership, skills and collaboration needed to move the sector forward

Designed to move the conversation beyond identifying problems and towards delivering practical solutions, The Construction Reset will provide visitors with direct access to the people influencing policy, investment and project delivery across the built environment.

Sarah-Jayne's perspective from the Ministry of Justice will offer attendees a unique opportunity to hear how one of the UK's largest public sector clients is approaching major construction programmes, driving innovation and delivering long-term value across its estate.

With more high-profile speakers still to be announced, The Construction Reset Main Stage is set to become one of the UK's leading platforms for discussing the future of construction.

Join us at UK Construction Week Birmingham, taking place from 29 September – 1 October 2026 at the NEC Birmingham, and be part of the conversations shaping what's next for our industry.
