BUILD IN DIGITAL RETURNS AS UK CONSTRUCTION WEEK CONTENT PARTNER – AND HOSTS THE OFFICIAL NETWORKING EVENT OF OPENING NIGHT

BUILD IN DIGITAL RETURNS AS UK CONSTRUCTION WEEK CONTENT PARTNER – AND HOSTS THE OFFICIAL NETWORKING EVENT OF OPENING NIGHT

UK Construction Week and Build In Digital have announced a strengthened partnership that will see the Building Innovation Awards become part of the official opening night at this year's event.

Proudly returning for a fourth consecutive year as an official Media Partner of UK Construction Week (NEC, 29th September - 1 October), Build In Digital will once again curate the popular Digitalisation & AI Stage at the three-day event, alongside hosting the awards ceremony.

A smarter way to entertain clients and staff in the evening

Taking place at the National Conference Centre, adjacent to the NEC, the Building Innovation Awards - now in its seventh year - will provide visitors, exhibitors and industry leaders with the opportunity to continue conversations beyond the exhibition halls, bringing together more than 500 senior decision-makers from across construction, property and the built environment for an evening of networking, fine dining and industry recognition.

Whether you're looking to strengthen client relationships, reward your team or meet new buyers, a table at the awards offers significantly better value than organising your own off-site event.

Joe Broun, Managing Director at Build In Digital, said: "UK Construction Week is where the industry comes together, so bringing the Building Innovation Awards to opening night was a natural fit. If you're exhibiting at UKCW, there's no better place to entertain clients or build new relationships. Instead of organising a separate evening event, join 500 of the sector's most influential decision-makers for an evening where the networking happens naturally."

Martin Hurn, UKCW Birmingham Editorial Director, said: "Our ambition is to make UK Construction Week more than an exhibition. It's where the industry connects, shares ideas and builds partnerships that shape the future. Welcoming the Building Innovation Awards as part of the opening night experience strengthens that vision, giving our community another opportunity to come together and celebrate the people and projects driving the industry forward. It's also a fantastic way to round off the first day of UKCW, bringing exhibitors, visitors and industry leaders together for an evening of networking, recognition and celebration just moments from the NEC."

Building Innovation Awards

Network with property and construction buyers

The Building Innovation Awards attracts senior decision-makers from across the construction industry, including major property owners, developers, contractors, consultants, housing providers and technology companies.

Our independent judging panel alone features board-level leaders from organisations including Kier, Taylor Wimpey, Vistry, Morgan Sindall, Laing O'Rourke, Galliford Try, Turner & Townsend, AECOM, Rider Levett Bucknall, Landsec, Grainger, Greystar, M&G Real Estate and Legal & General Affordable Homes.

It's a unique opportunity to spend an evening with the people shaping the future of construction - away from the exhibition floor.

See You at UKCW

Alongside the awards, Build In Digital will once again curate the Digitalisation & AI Stage at UK Construction Week, where visitors can discover how cutting-edge technology, automation, and AI are transforming construction workflows by showcasing the latest thinking on AI, digital transformation, BIM, digital twins and data-driven construction.
This year’s event returns with a bold new theme for the three-day show - The Construction Reset. Centred around three core themes - Building Better, Building Smarter and Building Responsibly - UKCW Birmingham will present a clear focus on the issues and opportunities that matter most to construction today.
