THE CONSTRUCTION RESET
Everyone in construction knows the industry needs to change. This year, it stopped talking about it and hit RESET. For three days at the NEC, contractors, builders, manufacturers, project managers and developers got stuck into what Building Better, Building Smarter and Building Responsibly mean on site, not just on paper. Three quarters of the UK's top 20 construction companies were there too, including Mace, Kier, Laing O'Rourke and Barratt Redrow.
The Construction RESET Stage heard from leaders at CIOB, the National Retrofit Hub and Homes England. Now in its ninth year, the Role Models Campaign recognised Tobi Owoeye, Ashley Crawford and Mina Hasman OBE. The Futurebuild Innovation Showcase put leading products in front of buyers and specifiers, while the Build Connect Lounge and the Construction & Supply Chain Exchange Pavilion kept the conversations going.
