SOLEAL Next Windows and Doors: More Possibilities, Less Impact

TECHNAL are expanding their range of products with SOLEAL Next, a new series of windows and doors that use recycled aluminium to reduce the environmental impact. SOLEAL Next offers multiple solutions with different designs, applications, openings, accessories and handles to suit any project. Another benefit of SOLEAL Next is the good performance level on sustainability, weather tightness and acoustics, which stands out significantly on the market.

The SOLEAL Next range of windows and doors offers endless opportunities to architects and planners thanks to its multiple designs and different applications, with profiles available for both 65 and 75 mm modules.

  • The windows, with their elegant lines, are available in multiple forms, shapes and colours, with various opening options. Concealed features such as hinges, drainage and handle contribute to minimalistic aesthetics.
  • The doors are available with concealed hinges, at a height of up to 3 meters and offer the possibility to include a technical mullion as an option for seamless integration of all kind of access control features such as sensors and cameras. These are just some of the infinite possibilities that the new highly versatile system features.

SOLEAL Next boasts the best features and benefits for the user. These include motorized locks, electro-magnetic locks for doors, and for windows, a sensor system that sends a notification through an application when the casements are blocked. The tilting windows can be motorised to obtain optimal natural ventilation in each room, as well as ensuring the entry of more sunlight thanks to the finesse of the lines. The range also offers the possibility of adding a 100%-tested and safe glass railing to window boxes, which ensures maximum indoor-outdoor transparency. The thermal performance, with a Uw up to 0.71 W/m²K, is an additional feature which translate into an increased energy saving as the consumption of air conditioning and heating is significantly reduced. Acoustic comfort is another of the benefits of SOLEAL Next, as it can reduce the sound by up to 47 dB.

The SOLEAL Next range of windows and doors has the highest standards when it comes to theft resistance up to RC3 and PAS24. The doors also offer maximum performance all in the same system: bulletproof protection, fire and smoke control, panic closures, a finger guard option and the possibility of adding an innovative antibacterial coating to the handles.

In addition to the slenderness and refined lines of the profiles, which are available in all of TECHNAL’s exclusive colour palette, SOLEAL Next incorporates the new handles from the EXCLUSIVE HANDLES COLLECTION. With these new finishes, the final aesthetics of the windows and doors are redefined, offering the user a great capacity for customisation. The collection consists of three lines of minimalist and timeless style: SELECTION, TEMPTATION and PASSION. All versions have been reduced to the maximum essence in order to remain faithful to the brand's commitment to the use of noble materials and refined lines.

All profiles in the SOLEAL Next range are available with Hydro CIRCAL®, an aluminium obtained by melting old windows at the end of their life cycle (post-consumption) or other objects with an equivalent alloy. This process makes it possible to reduce mineral extractions, avoid the dumping of waste into the natural environment, reduce the energy consumption of the production process and limit CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. In short, it is a much more environmentally friendly product than primary aluminium and pre-consumer recycled aluminium, and that contributes to developing the circular economy. The consequence of using the new SOLEAL Next range with Hydro CIRCAL®, with a low thermal transmittance, is the drastic reduction in emissions, which reaches more than 70% compared to the average carbon footprint of aluminium consumed in Europe: 8.6 kg CO2 per kg of aluminium.

With its 2.3 kg of CO2 per kg of material, Hydro CIRCAL® is currently the aluminium with one of the lowest emissions on the market. The goal is to reduce them to full post-consumer recycling. The use of Hydro CIRCAL thus contributes in a very effective way to building sustainable buildings that are eligible for the most prestigious environmental certifications such as the LEED, BREAM, WELL, VERDE, or LEVEL(s).

SOLEAL Next is also made with multiple recycled components, PVC-free. It is currently in the process of becoming Cradle to Cradle-certified and offers Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) on demand.
