The UK Construction Week (UKCW) takes place on the 8th-10th October at the NEC Birmingham. With over 650 exhibitors and 300 expert speakers lined up, it promises something for everyone involved in the construction industry.

Of course, our contribution to the event will involve our latest unique selection of glass lifting robots from Danish manufacturer Smartlift.

Our 2019 show stopper will be the Smartlift SL1008 with its amazing capacity to lift and carry a whole tonne of glass. As glass manufacturers see no limitations to size and weight, we respond with safe, practical and efficient solutions to install such ground-breaking features to our modern designs.

On the opposite end of the scale we will have our compact glazing robots. With our Smartlift SL280 and SL380 midi we can easily carry large glass panels through domestic doors and our SL208 Compact which we have no problems transporting in a personnel lift.

 Our most popular SL408 Outdoor High-lifter and SL608 will be on display, the SL608 will have many advanced features making glass installations and handling ever more practical.

We also have our board lifter on display which has been developed with partition companies and dry liners in mind. We know that employers do want to take care of their staff and the repetitive manual handling of large boards is of a constant worry. That’s why we have developed the Smartlift SL Gypsy in conjunction with our motorised trolley for manoeuvring packs of board safely around construction sites.
