From 2025 no new build homes will be heated by gas. Within the next four years, we will see technologies such as renewables, heat pumps and energy storage become part of the mainstream. It will be driven by housing and climate change regulation and the almost invisible revolution that has begun in the way that energy is generated, distributed, managed and consumed in the UK.
