Changing the culture of the Built Environment – A register of tradeswomen
In partnership with Stopcocks Women Plumbers this session will focus on the Stopcocks National Register of Tradeswomen, which is a one-stop-shop enabling anyone to choose to use tradeswomen.
In an interactive session the audience will be encouraged to participate in the development of the Register, with the event highlighting individual tradeswomen and seeking to identify and grow a strong group of tradeswomen role models.
Learn more about the Register, get involved, become a role model and help Stopcocks to engage with as many tradeswomen as possible. Stopcocks is actively seeking to change the culture of the industry by developing a Register that people can use to find tradeswomen, and by creating a school that will train women in the trades, supporting them, raising their profile and creating a community of women working on the tools.
Speakers include:
- Hattie Hasan MBE, CEO Stopcocks Women Plumbers
Facilitated by Building People, this open and inclusive event is part of a series of panel discussions and workshops focusing on the theme of culture change, with sessions highlighting diverse audiences from ex-military, youth, BAME, women, ex-offender and LGBTQ+ communities.
