This session will take the audience through the journey of adopting Lean methods and techniques to ease the digital information on a life major project in Manchester. The session will present the detailed steps of designing a project based production system using Lean methods and techniques, it will also highlight the use of Lean tools to improve, measure, and sustain the achieved results.
This is a case study will show the digital implementation at Circle Square scheme in Manchester, achieved by John Sisk & son (main contractor), and will feature the establishment of Digital Project Delivery for Sisk projects in the North business unit. The presentation will show the achieved production model in a live project through the deployment of various lean methods and techniques on a live major project.
This presentation will introduce the audience to the concept of Lean production and its main five principles, and to the deployment of production control principle relating to BIM to achieve the target future state aimed for the business
