Heating and lighting buildings, energy generation, distribution and storage, social impacts, long-term use, re-use or demolition of energy-inefficient buildings and infrastructure; all are crying out for a sense of direction. It’s clear the construction and energy industries have to work together, but what do we need in terms of a meaningful policy to achieve this?
