The Quality in Construction Summit 2021

7th October at NEC, Birmingham

The quality of our buildings and how we build is something we are all too aware needs to be addressed. Few can dispute the quality of housing needs to improve, and the same can be said for educational buildings, new hospitals, civic buildings and even the leisure sector. This summit addresses the topic head on.

The Quality in Construction Summit will run at Birmingham's NEC on 7th October 2021 and provides a platform for professionals with a remit for quality in the construction sector to learn, share and develop ideas to improve quality levels.

There is much to digest. The Building Safety Bill was published on Monday 5 July 2021 and began its progress through Parliament. The Construction Products Association has released the results of its industry-wide consultation on the new Code for Construction Product Information, taking in feedback from Dame Judith Hackitt’s “Building a safer Future”.

And the CCS have developed The Building a Safer Future Charter, appointed as the Charter’s Administrative Partner by the Early Adopters. This summit gives us the opportunity to discuss this with those who are at the forefront of policy in the UK.

The programme focuses on both strategic and operational issues and the core subjects to be tackled include; digitalising quality, legislative updates, modern methods of construction, fire prevention in the quality process and more. Join top industry experts for this thought-provoking one-day event and learn key takeaway points to develop your quality process and business strategy.
