Assistant Development Manager, Countryside Properties
Working in the construction industry and built environment, I take great pride in being a role model for aspiring individuals who wish to pursue a career in this field. My journey into the built environment began at a young age, as I assisted my father with his property portfolio during school holidays and weekends. Over time, I have gained extensive experience and expertise in this industry, which I have leveraged to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I have made significant contributions to the industry, including giving a presentation to over 800 students online when promoting Countryside's Virtual Work Experience. I regularly attend career fairs across London / SE England and also take time to offer career advice and CV assistance to students alongside serving on the West Thames College Advisory Board for Employers & being a STEM Housebuilding Ambassador. One of my most significant achievements was leading & organising the Acton Gardens Construction Event, which provided experiences with architects, tradesmen, and apprenticeship pathways to students aged 14-18. I liaised with different schools in the area, and I had the privilege of taking a group of ten students around for the day. I was delighted to be awarded the Rising Star of the Year by UCEM for my outstanding grades (Distinction in my MSc) and mentoring younger students with their apprenticeships and APC / RICS Pathways. I was highly commended by the RICS / UCEM for my excel spreadsheets and programs, which have helped other apprentices log their structured training days and CPD hours. My commitment to serving as a role model for the construction industry is driven by a deep passion for this field and a desire to inspire and mentor others.
