Over the last 20 years she has supported businesses in understanding their current sustainable procurement journey and provided training and guidance on steps to improve. In addition to sustainable procurement, she has also helped businesses with their modern slavery act activity supporting both compliance against the modern slavery act requirements and best practice and continuous improvement activity.
Some examples of her work include training organisations and their supply chains on issues such as sustainable procurement and modern slavery, development of guidance and templates to embed modern slavery due diligence requirements in the procurement process, development of organisational policies addressing sustainable procurement and/or modern slavery and human rights, assessment of organisational performance against ISO20400 and planning for continuous improvement, development of the supply chain through performance management mechanisms.
