The UK is embarking on a considerable programme to ensure that all domestic properties are net zero by 2050.  Our vision is that every home is warm, healthy and low carbon. The UK Green Building Council states that to undertake this challenge 1.8 homes per minute will need to be retrofitted by 2050.  Through The Retrofit Academy there is a mission to train 200,000 competent retrofitters by 2030.

Focusing on the social housing sector initially, EN:Able Communities CIO (through an exclusive licence with The Retrofit Academy) are seeking to deliver a suite of accredited training courses to social housing landlords and their contractor supply chain to enable Trustmark accreditation and PAS 2035 compliance in the North East and Yorkshire regions. Other suppliers will deliver these courses elsewhere in Great Britain.

Through surpluses generated, the charity will seek to work with social housing landlords through supporting their resident focused employment and skills programmes, thereby increasing the work readiness of residents that could support this considerable construction programme delivery.

Join this session to learn more and find out how get involved with this exciting retrofit opportunity.
