Faster, Better, Greener - the Independent Review of Construction Frameworks

05 Oct 2021
UKCW Main Stage

The effectiveness of construction frameworks is hampered by duplication, inconsistency and adversarial practices, wasting money and impeding progress. In February 2021 Professor David Mosey was appointed by Lord Agnew of the Cabinet Office to lead an independent review of public sector construction frameworks and his report , ‘Constructing the Gold Standard’, is about to be published by the Government. Professor Mosey summarises the findings from his work with 120 review participants and will explain how the features of a new ‘Gold Standard’ for frameworks and framework contracts drive strategic actions that improve value and safety, manage risks, meet Net Zero Carbon targets and support a profitable construction industry.
