06 Oct 2021
Digital Construction Hub
Over the next decade, traditional construction will increasingly give way to industry 4.0 high-quality manufactured solutions.
In the UK central government has moved in assumption of platform design for manufacture and assembly. Based upon the defined need hear how the Construction Innovation Hub (Hub) platform design programme aims to demonstrate the value through:
Design integrated, manufactured components and sub-assemblies that will adhere to new interface standards
Creation of a standard kit of parts that can be deployed across multiple business types.
Create a rulebook that will support wider adoption and provide guidance on how the can support delivery of multiple building types as well as guide the development of further platforms; and test and develop new manufacturing approaches based upon a digitised workflow.
