Breaking the Mould: Procuring for Social, Economic and Environmental Value

10 Oct 2019
UKCW Main Stage
- Hall 12
Building performance , Diversity, equality, & inclusion , Procurement , Sustainability

Whilst the basic principles of procurement seem simple, in reality, there are many obstacles we need to overcome to get it right. The decisions made in the process can make or break collaboration, have a lasting effect on local communities and set the direction for the entire project to either flourish or make it disadvantaged even before it’s fully going. At this session, we will discuss the new & successful models of procurement, their power in delivering Social Value and how by applying them, we can enhance social, economic and environmental sustainability outcomes.
