Dear Future Me – The Data Diary of a Building Object
We live in a time where data is a currency to be traded between organisations to provide better services, improve processes and change behaviours. Data is being captured about people, processes and ‘things’ and used in ways we never imagined were possible. Digital technologies have revolutionised the way we travel, bank, keep fit, socialise, communicate and live out experiences. In this talk we will look forward to the future and think about what building data might look like, how it might be used and the importance of getting it right. We will take a fantasy trip into the future and explore what a data economy could mean for the building sector.
