Philip will use his experience of working with teams to deliver excellent health and safety outcomes on projects to present clearly and simply what you need to do to get the best out of the health and safety regulatory framework in the construction industry without creating masses of paperwork. Developing his previous presentation, Managing CDM with 6 pieces of Paper, Philip will address what Clients, Principal Designers, Designers, Principal Contractors and Contractors need to do. The presentation will also address how Clients can appoint Principal Designers and Principal Contractors and what the PD and PC need to do on large and small projects. As well as addressing projects for commercial clients, the presentation will address how the roles can be addressed on projects for domestic clients and what the contractor has to do when the client duties fall to them to discharge. CDM presents a great opportunity to create simple systems and process that ensures that we do not continue to harm the works in our industry.
