Two Full-Scale Builds at The Offsite Show

Two Full-Scale Builds at The Offsite Show

The Offsite Show is the most comprehensive showcase of offsite solutions for the built environment

Explore two full-scale builds from two leaders in this sector to see the how these innovative modern methods of construction make the built environment more efficient, more sustainable and will help with building safety. Visitors will be inspired by the builds from British Offsite and @Home.

British Offsite's UNI House

British Offsite is the creator of the most technically advanced, light gauge steel panel system in the marketplace, suitable for mid-rise, high-rise and housing developments. With the capacity to deliver 4,000 new homes a year.

Explore British Offsite's 2-storey UNI House: built in only 7 hours, this is the culmination of various modern methods of construction, including light gauge steel, facades, windows and interior modules.

British Offsite's UNI Panel LB, UNI Wall LB, UNI Floor LB and UNI Roof LB are used in combination, to make a full UNI House, exactly matching your architectural vision.

The possibilities are endless with the flexibility of the British Offsite systems.

@Home's Systems

@Home is developing a delivery platform for the offsite manufacture and modular assembly of highly energy-efficient dwellings. Each dwelling with significantly reduced CO2 impact, typically minus 1.6 tonnes of CO2 per year. @Home will enable multiple SMEs to enter the housing market in localities of socioeconomic need, utilising mainly local non-tradespeople.

@Homes’s delivery platform is developed to encompass:

  • facility set-up
  • design
  • procurement
  • offsite assembly
  • site installation

The @Home delivery platform is provided and supported to SMEs under licence. As a fabric-first system, it combines elements to design a building envelope / structure and target a zero-carbon dwelling. The variable dimensions and layouts of Future@Home dwellings are enabled with commercially available materials used in their manufactured sizes. This minimises cutting / processing by skilled labour and reduces material waste / costs. @Home assembly information is passed to operatives using noncomplex, pictorial drawings. This simplified approach lessens measuring and calculation required, thus further de-skilling fabrication.
