Notify Technology
As part of developing our approach to behavioural safety we were looking for a way to collate safety data. Our original methods involved very manual processes such as individuals writing observations on cards that were then collated. This process was slow and unreliable and didn’t allow us to easily identify trends that could be used to identify and address risk.

What challenges were VVB faced with?

As part of developing our approach to behavioural safety we were looking for a way to collate safety data. Our original methods involved very manual processes such as individuals writing observations on cards that were then collated. This process was slow and unreliable and didn’t allow us to easily identify trends that could be used to identify and address risk.

What features were you looking for in a safety solution?

As part of our ambition to move safety reporting digital we embarked on a procurement exercise to find an app based product that was easy for our staff to use, scalable and provided data output in a granular way.

Why did you choose Notify over other solutions?

We looked at a number of products identified from recommendations and market research. We chose Notify as it best fit our brief and the team were willing to work with us to develop their product and our approach. We felt that the Notify team shared our vision for what an excellent safety culture should look like.

How did Notify help you deal with your challenges?

We are now able to get real time data from our staff on safety, quality and innovation observations meaning that we can make informed, data driven decisions. This has helped drive both our safety culture and continuous improvement within the business.
