Versarien to showcase 3D construction printing technology
Versarien to attend UK Construction Week, Birmingham
Versarien plc, an advanced engineering materials group, will attend UK Construction Week (UKCW) 2022.
The multi-award-winning UKCW will connect the whole supply chain in an event designed to be a catalyst for growth at Birmingham's NEC on 4-6 October 2022.
In a UKCW first, Versarien will showcase live demonstrations of its 3D printing throughout the event, using Versarien's 3D-printed, graphene-enhanced admixture, CementeneTM. This low carbon, cement-free mortar demonstrates a transformation in the way we can think, design and construct our buildings and interior spaces in the future.
“As an architect working with nanomaterials and 3D-printing technologies, I am excited to be attending UK Construction Week. I am certain it will be the perfect opportunity, whilst watching our 3D printer in operation, to discuss the possibilities for contractors, architects and designers to collaborate. The construction industry needs to continue to evolve and make innovative and sustainable changes now and into the future, and this is part of that evolution," says Ben Harries, Architectural Innovation Lead, Versarien.
With Government support and education on how to tap into significant investment opportunities in Housing and Infrastructure, UKCW Birmingham is a must-attend construction event. More than 25,000 people are expected to come together to explore how the industry embraces the challenges it faces and implements the changes needed to satisfy Government CO2 targets, other regulations and the needs of this nation.
Versarien will be located at stand C510 throughout the event. You can see the technology in action and discuss how this fast, efficient, sustainable, cost-effective construction method could benefit your projects.
