SPSenvirowall now offers a new RIBA approved CPD which aims to offer guidance on the available solutions for external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), which covers insulation, types of finishes, legislation and fire regulations applicable to ETICS.

The new RIBA approved CPD ‘Providing a Total Façade Solution’ sets out to help participants achieve their continued learning objectives and to provide those taking part with an understanding of ETICS, and the various legislation and regulations that apply.

RIBA is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture, with the aim to serve its members and society in order to deliver better buildings and places and a more sustainable environment.

Developed for architects, specifiers and developers, participants can expect to receive accredited certificates after the completion of the 45-60-minute CPD.

The continuing professional development seminar run by accredited CPD provider, SPSenvirowall, will provide participants with the background of ETICS and how they interact with your façade.

It will cover the characteristics of different types of insulation, its performance and how it works and includes guidance on adhesive, fixings and reinforcement mesh and finishes.

It will also set out to provide participants with an understanding of the various legislative documents and fire regulations.

Benx Technical Director, Jon Bourne said: “SPSEnvirowall as part of the Benx Group, is continually focused on providing our customers with innovations relating to better products, better buildings & better lives.

We continue our journey towards Technical Excellence with the first in a series of CPDs focused on knowledge development of our thermally efficient ETICS façades solutions.

We explore Legislation, Design, Sustainability, Health & Safety criteria of ETICS with an all-encompassing range of brick slips and render finishes.

SPSEnvirowall is committed to the supply of knowledge and certification to provide the specifier the confidence in the choice of façade.”
