On the 18th October at 10AM, Founder of TV programme ‘Amazing Spaces’ George Clarke will be opening UK Construction Week and chairing the first keynote panel on ‘Mind the gaps - now more than ever we must tackle productivity, innovation, investment, talent and skills’. The debate will welcome some of the biggest names including Dr Diana Montgomery, Chief Executive, CPA, David Hancock, Head of Construction, Cabinet Office, Dale Sinclair, Director of Technical Practice, AECOM and more.

Prior to the first keynote panel, Peter Murray, chairman of New London Architecture (NLA) is personally taking part in the UK Construction Week Cycling Challenge. On 17th October, Peter Murray will be accompanied by Wates Group’s Director Andy Wates and dRMM Architects’ Director; and HS2 Design Panel Chair Sadie Morgan; will be cycling 125.7 miles from London to Birmingham to fundraise for Construction Youth Trust.
The two-day challenge will finish at the NEC on the 19th October when the group is expected to arrive by 9.30am just in time for the opening session at the Main Stage!
