Construction professionals looking for the latest products, services and hottest deals should look no further than UK Construction Week this October. The industry’s biggest names will be showcasing their most recent innovations and running special discounts throughout the halls of the Birmingham NEC.
For all those seeking the latest hand tools then OX Group’s and Irwin Tools’ stands at the Build Show are not to be missed. OX Group will be launching three new hand tools including its Mix-M8 Paddle, Sharpdraw Pencils and Ultra-flex Trowels and will be giving away a free tool to the first five visitors to its stand on each day of the event. Launching its Record Quick-Adjusting Vice at the show, Irwin Tools will also have a range of its new for 2016 products on display. In addition, the company will be announcing the winner of its UK’s Ultimate Tradesperson competition who will win a paid for apprentice and £5,000.
With four of its latest lambda rigid insulation products for floor, wall and soffit applications, insulation heavyweights Kingspan Insulation’s stand will also be well worth a visit. Other companies launching products at the show include Wilms, Plasson UK, Clear Amber, HS Direct, Polyseam Ltd and ICEE.
One of the most exciting products due to be launched at Smart Buildings 2016 will be the Framery Q Booth. Framery is a Finnish company, which specialises in manufacturing acoustic phone booths, designed to improve productivity in the office. This will be the first time the product will be exhibited in the UK. Other industry leading companies showing off their latest innovations include Panasonic, KNX UK, Voltimum and Savant.
At Civils Expo Instant UpRight Ltd will be launching its Instant HD Modular Scaffolding System to the UK. Not only is the new system stronger, lighter (50 per cent reduction) and safer to use, it’s also faster to assemble. Highlights from across Instant Upright’s range of products will also be on display including its mobile aluminium scaffolding towers and Spandeck walkway systems. CEMEX will also be launching a number of new products that are not to be missed.
In a world first, humidification and evaporative cooling specialists Condair will be previewing the first ever condensing, gas-fired steam humidifier at HVAC 2016. The new Condair GS recovers heat from exhaust gases to pre-heat its incoming water supply, saving energy and making it the most efficient gas-fired humidifier available. In addition, the latest innovations from Knauf Insulation, Trimble and Airflow Developments Ltd will also be on display.
One of the most pioneering companies to exhibit at Energy 2016 will be Pavegen, a clean-tech start-up company headquartered in London. At the show the company will bring a new technology, which converts footsteps into a digital currency that can be used to reward loyalty or to donate to charitable causes. Some of the other exhibitors showcasing new products and services include E.ON, Firefly Clean Energy, CPSL Group, Vaillant Group, British Gas and Scottish Power.
At Timber Expo companies such as Owatrol, Jagram, Rothoblass, Steico, Metsä Wood and Vandecasteele will be displaying their latest innovations.
