Hanson Plywood will once again be sponsoring a creative installation at this years’ Timber Expo.
This will mark the 4th time that the Halifax-based company have worked alongside students at the Architectural Associations School of Architecture with the help of TRADA. The sculpture will be constructed using birch throughout plywood sourced from well managed and certified forests, promoting innovative and sustainable design. Birch plywood offers a perfect combination of performance and decorative quality and is suitable for a wide range of uses.
Engaging with architects and specifiers is a key focus of Hanson Plywood who have a carefully and specifically selected collection of products which feature on RIBA Product Selector and NBS Plus software. This engagement is echoed in the company’s presentation of products and applicable standards on the Quick Reference Specification Guide for Plywood in their 2017 Product Guide (Page 13).The company will have specialist staff stationed at the sculpture to offer technical advice on timber-based panel products in addition to helpful literature and samples.
