Hanson Plywood take a broad view toward the sustainability of our business operations and have deployed several initiatives across the organisation to support our carbon reduction journey.

These solutions include:

• A new solar powered 60,000 ft² warehouse which is scheduled to be completed by February 2024 to reduce our Scope 2 emissions;
• Introducing contactless business cards
• Working with suppliers to ensure they’re carrying out EPDs.

We are particularly excited about the arrival of the Hanson Plywood electric vehicle fleet which includes 5 combi-lift forklift trucks and West Yorkshire’s first 100% electrically powered heavy goods vehicle!
