EUROPCAR VANS & TRUCKS SHOWCASES FLEXIBLE FLEET SOLUTIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION SECTOR
Europcar Vans & Trucks, the commercial vehicle division of Europcar Mobility Group UK, is giving the construction sector insight into flexible fleet solutions at UK Construction Week.
As the construction industry moves forward following the disruption caused by the pandemic, one of the major issues for many companies is effectively managing fleet utilisation. The challenge is ensuring they have a ‘fit for purpose’ fleet of commercial vehicles which meets their rapidly changing business requirements across different sites and projects, whilst avoiding lengthy financial commitments. Flexibility is key.
Europcar Vans & Trucks will be showcasing long-term vehicle hire as a cost-effective and flexible alternative to contract leasing or outright ownership. Visitors will be able to discover first-hand the wide range of vehicles the commercial vehicle specialist can provide, including a single cab tipper which will feature on the stand.
They will also be able to learn how Europcar’s long-term rental vehicles can be fitted with all the latest on-board equipment to ensure a safe and efficient drive. The Geotab telematics system and SureCam on-board camera helps enhance driver performance, reduce the fuel load and increase safety. By discouraging excessive acceleration and braking, and reducing idling times, Geotab’s telematics solutions are helping to support businesses in meeting their wider sustainability agenda, whilst also reducing accidents, vehicle damage and unplanned maintenance.
“Without lengthy financial commitments, as well as the ability to select the latest Euro VI compliant vehicles, long-term rental is an ideal and sustainable solution for construction firms”, explained Clive Forsythe Commercial Director at Europcar Mobility Group UK.
“As an experienced and reliable partner for the construction industry, we are able to offer a comprehensive range of cost-effective and flexible commercial vehicle solutions, which can be kitted out with equipment such as towbars, beacons, racking and shelving to suit individual needs. The option to add telematics and dash cam technology also gives businesses that extra layer of insight to improve driver safety and wellbeing, as well as ensuring optimal use of their fleet.”
Europcar Vans & Trucks offers nationwide coverage with more than 65 UK branches providing LCV services, including a network of well-equipped Supersites. Flexible rental durations are available on a wide range of vans and specialist vehicles including tippers, dropsides, traffic management, 4x4 pick-ups and a Chapter 8 compliant options - all of which can be delivered direct to the driver.
